FALL 2024 SEASON – GPSD REGISTRATION INFORMATION

THERE IS A NEW PAYMENT COLLECTION PROCESS THAT WILL BE PRESENTED DURING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.

70% OF THE REGISTRATION FEE WILL BE DUE AT REGISTRATION WITH THE REMAINING 30% BEING CHARGED THE DAY AFTER REGISTRATION CLOSES. THE 30% CHARGE WILL OCCUR ON 08/16/2024.

SPRING AND FALL ONLY: IF YOU PLAN ON BRINGING IN YOUR OWN FIELD FOR YOUR HOME MATCHES, PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE MATCH DATES BELOW TO OBTAIN A PERMIT ON 5 OF THE DATES OF YOUR CHOOSING

BE SURE THE FIELD PERMIT IS SENT TO THE LEAGUE SCHEDULER BY END OF DAY 8/12/2023 (GPSDFIELDS@GMAIL.COM). ANY FIELD PERMITS RECEIVED AFTER THAT THERE IS NO GUARANTEE YOUR HOME MATCHES WILL BE SCHEDULED ON THE DATES OBTAINED ON YOUR PERMIT

COST

(The "Team") hereby applies to registration as an amateur soccer team with Greater Portland Soccer District, Inc. (GPSD, Inc.), in one of the following divisions:

Open: $2,295 (70% due at registration, 30% due on 8/16/2024)

Over 30: $2,245 (70% due at registration, 30% due on 8/16/2024)

Over 40: $2,245** (70% due at registration, 30% due on 8/16/2024)

Over 50: $2,045 (70% due at registration, 30% due on 8/16/2024)

Over 60: $2,045 (70% due at registration, 30% due on 8/16/2024)

Over 65 (9 vs 9): $1,645 (70% due at registration, 30% due on 8/16/2024)

**Teams in O40 not placed in O40 1st will receive a $150 refund due to these matches being officiated by one official instead of three

During the registration process the Team will select an age bracket to participate in (Open, Over 30, 40, 50, 60, or 65 9v9) and then request a division (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.). The Team's division request is not a guarantee, but only the Team’s age bracket is.

Divisions within an age bracket will be determined by previous GPSD results along with taking the Team's request into consideration. Typically, if a team requests to be in a higher division than their record indicates we will place them in their higher division.

September: 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, 29th

October: 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 26th, 27th

November: 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th

December: 7th, 8th

For Over 65: Separate TBD weekday evenings will be utilized (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays)

The Team understands that GPSD, Inc., OASA, USASA, USSF, and FIFA all have rules that are applicable to the Team. The Team agrees to abide by all of these rules.

The Team understands that it is only permitted to use players who are registered with and hold a current, valid identification card issued by OASA.

HOW TO REGISTER

STOP AND READ THIS BEFORE YOU REGISTER A RETURNING TEAM - IF YOU ARE REGISTERING A TEAM THAT HAS ALREADY PLAYED IN ANY 2023 OR 2024 SEASON YOU WILL NEED YOUR TEAM UNIVERSAL ID NUMBER TO CARRY OVER YOUR ROSTER AND MAKE REGISTRATION EASIER.

GET THAT HERE AND LOOK FOR THE MOST RECENT AGE BRACKET YOUR TEAM PLAYED IN (OR DO A CTRL + F ON THE PAGE AND SEARCH FOR YOUR TEAM NAME) THEN RETURN TO THIS PAGE TO REGISTER USING THAT TEAM UNIVERSAL ID # WHEN ASKED
